a new world part 2 of chapter 1 (read intro to new world first)

January twenty-fourth came quickly. Timmy and his saddened parents began the long journey from New York to Seattle. After the long eight hour flight they reached Seattle in a cloud of somberness. Stepping out of the plane, they made their way over to the rental car. Timmy pushed his heavy suitcase into the trunk of the mini van.

Seattle, Washington was surrounded by a huge blanket of rain clouds. He wiped his brow. His suitcase was very heavy because it was filled with food, clothes, and some personal items. As he trudged into the mini van he saw his mother try to force a weak smile. You could see her forcing back riverfulls of tears.

Timmy was going have to leave these people forever. These people he loved. Why did this have to happen to him? He actually wished he could stay home with his loving family and friends. A better question was why did the world have to be so selfish? Why hadn’t they listened to President Nails and stop stuffing garbage into the ground?

It was hard saying good bye to everyone. They had all wanted to go with Timmy to see him off to his new home. His best friends Richey and Huey had even tried to sneak into Timmy’s suitcase, the night he left for Seattle.

The week before the flight to Seattle Timmy and his parents had a day of fun. They drove down to the fantastic city of New York city at five o clock in the morning and returned at three o clock the clock the next morning. First they went to see the new Broadway show rave called Fantastico, a musical. It was about a magician named Burt who was lonely and made friends through his magic. Then they went to a five star restaurant called Paula’s bar and grill. Timmy had felt bad as he gulped down his one hundred dollar chicken dish. He was chewing on money his parents didn’t have. Following the movie was a trip to New York’s super candy store. Timmy and his parents bought five founds of gummy pigs, nine pounds of chocolate covered gummy bears, and two pounds of mints. In the next ten minutes they had gulped down all the candy and we headed to the new amusement park called Purple Toad’s Fun and Games. They rode roller coaster’s and rides for three hours straight. Timmy found this amazing because he knew his mother didn’t like roller coasters. As soon as she got off she screamed aloud, “That was the funnest time of my life!” Then she broke down and cried laughing and rolling on the ground. The last few hours of the day. They drove an hour out into the country side and had a pic nic dinner of Teriyaki and rice. In the last hours of the night and the early hours of the next morning they sat under the sky finding beautiful constellations. Timmy would never forget this day. Even when he lived on a new planet.

Timmy was risen from his though when his dad hit a large bump in the road. Suddenly he fell back into thought. The bumpy road reminded Timmy alot of his life. His parent’s constant struggle for money. They had never been able to afford any of the new inventions that had just come out. For example they still owned a regular Honda 2020 civic. All of his friends had owned a hover craft. He also remembered his parent’s constant quarrels of his father’s job. His mother thought his father was wasting his time writing the book, when he could be spending more time at the office making real money. His father diasgreed saying his book was going to make it big one day.

Wow this is really good. I really feel for Timmy and his family. That's really said because he has to leave all his friends, family, and even planet earth! I like your writing because all of your sentences sound smooth, not all chunky. I can't wait till you post the next couple of chapters!!! Good job, and keep writing!

That was really good. I can't wait to read the next entry. I liked it because of all of the detail you put in it. Like whe you were describing seattle. I could picture the rain cloud in the sky.

Wow you are a really good writer! I can see a clear image of this book on shelves in book stores. Boldly printed GRACIE SWANSON on the bottom of the book.
